The algorithm decides how many of your followers see your next post. Your email list doesn't: it goes straight to people who asked to hear from you, and it's yours to keep. Here are three emails built from your own photos, words and prices. Scroll inside each phone to see the whole email.
The email your sign-up form promises but never sends: the bakery, the classes and the books in your own words, with a pick-up order as the first step.
Sells gift vouchers on your 2027 class calendar, $50 to $300, emailed straight to the recipient, plus bespoke team classes for the new year.
Puts Sweet Seasons, All Day Baking and The Tivoli Road Baker on every Christmas list, then fills the summer table with whole cakes from $48.
If you've got 1,000 or more opted-in contacts across your newsletter, bookings and online orders, I'll set up the welcome email and send these campaigns, plus one more, to that list in the lead-up to Christmas. If they don't bring in more than my monthly fee of $750*, you don't pay. No lock-in, no risk to you.
I owned my own cafés for close to a decade. Business owner to business owner, I wouldn't put this forward if I didn't think it would pay for itself.
*How it's measured: every email gets its own tracked links, plus a code just for these emails where it fits (an order, voucher or booking code). Before anything goes out, we agree what counts: sales, vouchers and bookings that come through those links or codes during the first month, with bookings valued at your average spend per head. The figures come straight from your own sales and booking systems, so you see exactly what I see.
Who counts toward the 1,000: anyone who has said yes to hearing from you, whether through your newsletter sign-up, a booking or an online order, and who hasn't unsubscribed. Under 1,000? We start with the welcome email and growing your list from the bookings and orders you already take, at the standard monthly fee, and I'll tell you straight if email isn't worth it for you yet.
